After receiving an RFP for a redesigned signage and wayfinding system for the school, I decided follow the outline and design a system as an independent conceptual exercise as practice for designing wayfinding systems. As noted in the RFP, the Laurier campus was expanding and the school needed a more flexible signage system. After doing some research on campus wayfinding and looking at their existing signage, I designed a solution that was simple, clear and easy to use. The concept is modern and prominently features the school seal as a design element.
